New York State Workers’ Compensation Board is detailing its plan for modernizing its platform and process for Utilization Review. While only the first in a series of webinars took place this morning, there is already plenty of information to share:
- The OnBoard Prior Authorization Request (PAR) System will become the single platform for authorization requests
- UR Process in New York is trending toward URAC standards
- Process change creates a new environment for both payers and providers.
